Welcome to GeoTrail. These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to all users, visitors, and businesses using our platform. By accessing or registering on the platform, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, please do not use the platform.

1. Platform Description

GeoTrail is an online tourism-focused platform operating in Georgia. The Platform provides listing, reservation, and information services related to hotels, tours, transfers, activities, and other tourism services. GeoTrail acts as an intermediary between service providers and users and does not provide tourism services in its own name.

2. User Responsibilities

Every user of the Platform agrees to the following:

• Information provided during registration is accurate, current, and complete
• You must be at least 18 years old to register on the Platform
• You are solely responsible for the security of your account (password, login credentials)
• Your account will be used only for personal purposes and will not be transferred to third parties
• You will not share content that is harmful, misleading, unlawful, or defamatory
• You will not attempt to harm or compromise the platform infrastructure

3. Rules for Businesses

Businesses listing services on the Platform are required to comply with the following:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in listings (price, capacity, service features)
• Not add unlawful, misleading, or obscene content
• Comply with GeoTrail's commission rates and payment terms
• Respond to user reviews and comments in a respectful and professional manner
• Operate in compliance with Georgian tourism regulations and applicable licensing requirements

4. Reservation and Payment Terms

• Confirmation Process: Reservations are finalised upon approval by the relevant service provider. Payment may be collected before confirmation, but the service guarantee arises only after approval.
• Cancellation Policy: Cancellation terms are stated individually in each listing. As a general rule, full refunds are provided for cancellations made at least 48 hours before the reservation date.
• Payment Security: All payment transactions are protected by SSL/TLS encryption. Payment details are not stored on GeoTrail servers.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform (text, photos, logos, graphics, code, database structure, etc.) belongs to GeoTrail or is used under licence. By uploading content to the Platform, users grant GeoTrail a worldwide, royalty-free, sub-licensable licence to use such content. Unauthorised copying, distribution, or commercial use of any content is prohibited.

6. Disclaimer of Liability

GeoTrail acts as an intermediary between service providers and users. GeoTrail does not accept responsibility for:

• The quality, safety, or legality of services provided by service providers
• User errors occurring during the reservation process
• Links and content belonging to third-party websites
• Disruptions arising from force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, political crises, etc.)

7. Account Suspension

GeoTrail reserves the right to suspend or permanently close an account without prior notice in the following circumstances:

• Breach of these Terms
• Detection of fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive activity
• Behaviour harmful to platform security or other users
• Extended account inactivity (over 12 months)

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Georgia, and the courts of Tbilisi shall have jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these Terms. For users residing in Turkey, relevant Turkish consumer protection legislation also remains applicable.

9. Amendments to Terms

GeoTrail reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Updates take effect 30 days after being published on the platform. Continued use of the platform following the update constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
